How prepare for your appointment:
Limit the number of guests you bring:
Finding your dream dress can be an emotional experience. Limiting the number of guests you bring will help to ease your mind and allow YOU to focus on what you love. In our experience it’s best to try on dresses with just one or two guests. If you plan to visit with a group larger than three, please call for a private appointment. We have limited seating and the shop can be very busy on the weekends.
We encourage you to be on time or even a little early:
This allows us to provide our best service for your appointment. If you are running late – or very early – please let us know. We want to make sure you (and the brides before and after you) have an amazing joyful experience and an adequate amount of time. Please note: If you are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment (without notifying us), your appointment will be cancelled and rescheduled.
We love children! However, we ask you keep your appointment an adult-only experience. We want to pamper you during this time, as well as the other bridal parties in the boutique during your appointment.
What to wear:
What you wear under the dress will create the foundation of your look. First and foremost select undergarments you are comfortable in! Select undergarments that are nude or light in color. Strapless or convertible bra’s work the best and will allow you to look and feel your best in a variety of beautiful gowns. Consider bringing shoes with a heal height you are most likely to wear.
Consider your timing:
Finding the perfect dress doesn’t necessarily mean it will fit you perfectly. Alterations take time depending on what needs to be done. Shopping well in advance of your wedding date will allow you plenty of time for alterations and greatly reduce your stress level. If you do not have an Alterationist, we are happy to recommend one for you.
No shoe policy in boutique:
We have a no shoe policy in our boutique to keep the Minnesota seasons away from our beautiful gowns and out of our store. You will be asked to remove your shoes at the door and we will provide you with slippers or bring your own to wear during your time with us.
We require a 24-hour cancellation notice. You will be refunded your $25 deposit upon cancellation if it is completed a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment start time.
If you are more than 20 minutes late (without notification) your appointment will be cancelled, and we will have to reschedule.
If you do not call to cancel/reschedule your appointment or find your dream dress with us during your appointment, the appointment fee will be retained.
